Luster - Vitreous, Greasy

Texture - Fine-Grained, Equigranular, Sugary

Streak - White to a Blue-Green

Locality - Washington, Montana, New York, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon

Where It Can Be Found - It can be found in copper mines, especially in arid regions. It's a minor ore of copper that's often found in secondary mines, and is often found together with azurite and malachite.
